The Fred Werner Company is your source for quality powder coating at competitive pricing.
Today's preferred method of painting is powder coating. The durability of powder coating ensures longevity by protecting against peeling, chipping, and cracking. Achieving the appearance you desire is not a problem as we offer a multitude of colors and textures as well as the possibility of custom matching to your specifications. We are capable of handling lengths up 28 feet on our automated 340 foot coating line. Whether it is small parts or large fabricated assemblies we can process large or small quantities utilizing our high capacity batch line with two 10 foot wide ovens. A powder coating is only as good as its pre-treatment. A multistage pre-treatment is provided for either aluminum or steel. This pre-treatment insures excellent coating adhesion. On aluminum we afford a five stage chromate conversion pre-treatment. For steel the pre-treat consists of a four stage iron phosphate pre-treatment.
Polyester Powder Coating Depending on the required application we offer two basic powder coating formulations - Polyester and TGIC Polyester (Triglycidlisocyanurate Polyester).
Formulation Comparison:
Our powder coatings may be used in similar applications where liquid paints are commonly applied. However, tests have shown that our powder coatings far surpass liquid paint in both finish quality an in numerous performance characteristics. This includes impact and abrasion resistance as well as corrosion protection.
